Fling at the Springs Music Festival
September 29th is A Fling at the Springs!
Enid, OK – A Fling at the Springs annual music festival is in full swing to take place on Saturday, September 29, 2012 from 3pm to 11pm at the beautiful Government Springs Park in historic downtown Enid. Eight musical acts are slated to play the festival, including Amy Swanner and Steven Harwood, Andrew Shearon and the Coattail Riders - Ty Tompkins and Rick Null, Larry Horany, Scott Carson, Bermuda County, Gypsy Twang, Piper Leigh and the Smokin' Section, and Addiction's Mistress and Western Enterprises will be providing a fireworks display as well. Emcees include Jerry Allen and Lindy Chambers.
The festival was originally created as a fund raiser for Government Springs Park and has in recent years become a staple in the ever growing list of annual events in Enid. The show features some of Enid and Oklahoma's most beloved musicians. A Fling at the Springs is a free festival open to all ages. Coolers of 3.2 beer or wine are permitted and there will be food vendors available at the event. Bring lawn chairs and blankets.
This year's event is largely sponsored by the Live and Local photography turned musical project done by Gray's Professional Photography, as well as Park Avenue Thrift, Main Street Enid, Central National Bank, Security National Bank, Western Enterprises, Northcutt Chevrolet/Buick/Toyota, The Q-Spot, PEGASYS, Jumbo Foods, Encompass Financial Services, I Love Enid, and the City of Enid.
